Terms of Service

A Gentle Note

Cross offers encouragement and prayerful reflection. It does not replace your pastor, counselor, or doctor. Cross is not medical or crisis care. The Faith Companion is an AI, not a therapist or a person. If you are in danger or thinking of harming yourself, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line now (in the U.S. and Canada, call or text 988).

1. About these terms

These terms apply to everyone who uses Cross (“we”, “us”): churches that hold an account (“churches”) and the people who use a church’s Cross page (“congregants”). By creating an account or using Cross you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.

2. What Cross provides

3. Accounts

4. Plans, billing and cancellation

5. Fair and safe use

6. Content

7. Availability, disclaimers and liability

We work to keep Cross available and accurate, but it is provided “as is”, without guarantees that it will always be available or error-free, or that AI content is complete or correct. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to a church is limited to the fees it paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Ending use

You can stop using Cross at any time. Churches can cancel their plan; anyone can ask us to delete their account using the contact details below.

9. Changes and law

We may update these terms; we will post the new version here and tell account holders by email about important changes. These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.

10. Contact
